Authentic Chlum Moldavite Crystal – 6.2g Natural Czech Tektite

A Remarkable Piece of Earth's Cosmic History

Formed during a meteorite impact approximately 14.7 million years ago, natural Moldavite is one of Earth's most fascinating forms of impact glass.

This authentic Chlum Moldavite from the Czech Republic features an elegant, naturally curved silhouette, deep olive-green coloring, richly textured and creviced ends, and contrasting glassy-looking edges. When held to the light, its darker exterior reveals beautiful green translucency and intricate natural detail.

Individually selected for its distinctive formation and collector appeal, this is the largest of our four Moldavite specimens currently being offered.

You will receive the exact one-of-a-kind 6.2-gram Moldavite pictured.

What Makes Moldavite So Extraordinary?

Moldavite is a natural tektite, a type of impact glass formed when a meteorite struck Earth approximately 14.7 million years ago. The impact, associated with the Ries crater in present-day Germany, melted terrestrial material and propelled droplets through the atmosphere. Some cooled into the distinctive green glass now found in parts of the Czech Republic.

Over millions of years, geological processes and natural weathering contributed to Moldavite's unusual surface textures, crevices, and sculpted formations. Its limited geographic occurrence and remarkable origin make it particularly appealing to collectors of natural minerals, tektites, and impact glass.

This specimen beautifully illustrates those characteristics through its curved form, textured ends, and translucent green interior.

Transformation, Intuition and New Beginnings

In contemporary crystal traditions, Moldavite is often associated with profound personal transformation, spiritual awareness, and new beginnings. Its extraordinary origin has made it especially meaningful to those drawn to crystals as symbols of change and self-discovery.

• Transformation: Symbolizes personal evolution and embracing meaningful change.
• Intuition: Traditionally associated with inner awareness and trusting personal insight.
• New Beginnings: A meaningful reminder of fresh possibilities and life's transitions.
• Spiritual Growth: Often chosen as a symbol of expanded perspective and deeper self-reflection.

A Note About Moldavite: Moldavite has long been valued in contemporary crystal traditions for its association with transformation, intuition, and spiritual growth. Some enthusiasts describe a strong personal connection to this unusual natural glass, while others simply appreciate its remarkable geological history and beauty. Experiences and beliefs vary, and no particular energetic effect is guaranteed.
